About Us

Terrie Goren, CFRE

Terrie believes in the community. She has been involved in the nonprofit world nearly her entire life either as a volunteer or serving in a professional capacity to benefit the community at large.

Whether serving as the president of a religious institution, a youth director, a student organization director, the interim executive director of a religious institution, or the executive director of a social services agency, she has been fortunate to be able to work in an environment that evokes her passion.

Our Experience

Terrie has more than 20 years of nonprofit management experience ranging from special events planning as well as directing a student organization at a private university, preventative education organization, religious institution, social services agency, and a library foundation, Terrie has a breadth of experiences to draw upon.

Her strengths include fundraising, grant writing, strong fiscal management, establishing policies and protocols, organizational and leadership development, and team building. Additionally, Terrie has more than 30 years of leadership and volunteer experience in community organizations.

Interim Solutions for Executives

Put your mind at ease. Available for short-term assignments. Transitions of executives and development directors cause nonprofit boards to worry and become anxious. A transition can lead to one of the most vexing periods for a nonprofit organization.

Funder and staff concerns as well as community confusion often take an organization off course and stall the success of even the best organizations. The role of a professional interim director is to guide the organization through its transition period.

We will work with the organization and its board to seek a harmonious ending for the departing CEO or development director and build towards a healthy, focused beginning for the new one. We will help stabilize the organization through the transition and provide the board with the time needed to carefully examine the aspirations and direction of the organization so that the new leader can effectively move the organization forward.

Capital Campaigns - Not Sure How to Get Started?

Preplanning services include readiness assessments, feasibility studies, development of campaign materials, committee training, and solicitor training.
